Revues.org is a federation of reviews in Social Sciences which defends an open design of the scientific edition. The constitution of a true edition of free on line access is a truly major editorial, scientific and democratic stake and challenge. The development of reviews existing already in paper format, but also of specifically electronic reviews (born digital), takes part in the international opening-up of French research and its emancipation from a confined distribution and reading systems. Lastly, the innovating adoption of the electronic medium makes possible a new types of edition, which largely remain to be invented.

The objective of this site is to provide a set of useful references, from a technical, economic, legal and social point of view to answer the questions which any editor should ask, that he considers the setting on line of a paper review or the creation of a new digital one. The site concerns any editor (professional, university) of digital review, whether a beginner or experienced in the paper format. The site is intended to be a reference site.

The Virtual Library of Periodicals/journals is a French and Quebec project developed and updated by about fifteen librarians and documentalists. To date, it indexes approximately 500 reviews and electronic magazines offering their contents on Internet.

The objective of ERUDIT is the promotion and the diffusion of the university reviews in social and human sciences. It offers to scholarly reviews the means of diffusing a digital version which will be able to answer their specific needs and those of their readership.
