The Checkland Soft Systems Methodology
This paper is an account of the checkland’s soft system methodology. The methodology has been designed to take organizational problems holistically, but found very useful il building theoritical model and pratical use in « real-World » problems. It is therefore a systems-based methodology which uses systems ideas to find a structure in apparenthy ill-structured soft-problem situations. Hence, provides a set of activities which together comprise an inquiring system an inquiring system and an appreciative system.
