These last years, studies on thermal storage systems have been developed in order to bring technical and economic elements. The study includes two parts. The first one concern a numerical analysis of a latent-heat thermal energy storage unit is conducted. The element of storage is a rectangular closed cavity filled with a phase change material (PCM) initially at the solid state. At t = 0 a heat flux is applied through one of the vertical walls of the cavity. Other one, experimental steady treats a new type of solar collector was developed and tested to valid numerical models.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
