Based on cognitive perspective, this work investigates the relationship between schematic structure and meaning from one hand and its relationship with ideology from another hand. This research proved that structure is not a mere form for meaning but rather it is meaning itself in its ways of taking shape and unfolding. It is equally proved that structure and meaning can never detached from the cognizer. Such multidimensional cognizer is, first, an embodied entity. Through its corporeal presence, it represents and discerns the surrounding universe. Second, it is, also, a cultural entity that owns its particular vision of the existence through the historically already created worldviews. Besides, it is a social entity that understands the existence from its potion both in society and conflict. We have employed these theoretical parameters in our reading a hegemonic schematic structure in the literature of Jobran that is the “Schema of Power”. We analyzed the aspects and levels of its presence both in discourse and language of Jobran's literature. Also, we identified its expression of Jobran's understanding of the existence and the effects that contributed to the emergence of this schema in his literature.

Too many controversies surround the question of interference between literary genres in prose in general and narratives in particular. This issue is among the most prevalent preoccupations in poetics in that classifying genres and determining the nature of the relationship between them has always opened ways to debate. Therefore, analyzing the question of the interconnection of literary genres has become of great necessity in contemporary literary theory. Literary genres provide texts with qualities at the level of description, interpretation and value allowing the researcher to categorize and analyze these texts via their generic characteristics. Indeed, learning about the principles of each genre will help us to take into account the aesthetic and textual development of texts as well as the evolution of the artistic history. In this research, we have chosen to focus on the novel in order to investigate its generic traits. This is because the novel is the genre that most witnesses interrelation and is entwined with other genres and because it is more open to other genres. It is crucial to mention that the novel has always been intertwined with manifold genres has not drawn definite rules and principles to itself.

This study aims to analyse and identify the speech act in the prophetical dis-course that forms it. In our analysis that relied on a pragmatic approach, we have concluded that the relation between the coranic and prophetical discourses is specif-ic. Consequently, it seems necessary to review some axiomatic speech act theory.

Viewed through the concept of cultural hybridity, the approach to language learning and communication triggers cultural contacts among language users. It places the Algerian learner in the position of a multi-language user (mother tongue, national language, school languages). This creates cultural diversity fostered by the existence of a diversity of understandings of the local, regional, national and international environments.

Compared to a monolingual speaker, a language learner who becomes multilingual is expected to respond differently to a variety of situations. This suggests that his/her understanding is deepened thanks to “cultural dialogues” and that he/she becomes more aware to accept the other by recognizing and sharing the difference with the other. But, a question arises : does this diversity of culture lead to what H. Bhabha calls the “third place” ? In other terms, does this offer opportunity for the learner to see his/her local world through lenses of the “Global Village” without the risk of acculturation ?
The challenge is therefore to define and construct a learner's identity through EFL learning. Within this perspective, Guy Oliver Fauve (1993), believes that local allegiances should be reconciled with global affinities. For him, our world is a world of globalization ; therefore, the big challenge remains in the capacity to foster “a vision of the whole that accommodates the diversity of the parts” (ibid:vii). Put differently, the function of culture is to preserve the individual's identity without neglecting the difference with the other's.
